PIPTIM · ALWAYS ON TOP
Short enough to miscount, long enough to matter. Thirty seconds is easier to watch than to count.
Tap the time to change it
Counting thirty seconds in your head almost always runs fast, and it runs faster when the thirty seconds are hard. Count out a plank and the point you call thirty is usually nearer twenty-two. This is the length where felt time drifts furthest from real time.
HIIT intervals, mouthwash, hand sanitiser, the short rest between sets — all of them land here, and all of them leave your hands busy. You cannot keep watching a screen you have to reach for.
Press the PiP button and the countdown leaves the browser to float above everything else, so the seconds stay visible while you follow a workout video. For a longer interval, use the 1 minute timer.
