PIPTIM · ALWAYS ON TOP
25 minutes of focus, a 5 minute break, and a 15 minute long break after the fourth round. Already configured.
Tap the time to change it
The standard pomodoro runs four rounds of 25 minutes of focus and a 5 minute break, then a 15 minute long break. What makes the structure work is not the focus time but the fact that the breaks are mandatory. Four sessions run back to back are not a pomodoro; they are a two-hour block.
The breaks are also where it usually falls apart. Miss the end of a 5 minute break and the rest of the cycle drifts. The PiP window keeps the transition visible even when the break is spent in another window.
Turn on start the next session automatically in settings to chain focus and rest without stopping. If you only need one session, use the 25 minute timer.
