PIPTIM · ALWAYS ON TOP
The interval most often recommended to people who look at screens all day.
Tap the time to change it
Eye doctors suggest the 20-20-20 rule: every twenty minutes, look at something about six metres away for twenty seconds. Concentrating on a screen reduces how often you blink and keeps the focusing muscles under load, and twenty minutes is the interval offered for breaking that up.
The paradox of the rule is that it asks someone absorbed in a screen to look away from it. When you are absorbed, twenty minutes passes unnoticed, and an alarm behind another window may as well not exist. That is usually why the rule goes unfollowed.
The PiP window sits outside the browser, so it stays above a full-screen video or a code editor. To repeat it through the day, set the focus cycle to twenty minutes and let it loop.
