A two-hour timer behaves differently from a short one. You barely check it — until the last twenty minutes, when every check happens at once. That is the stretch where an exam needs its answers tidied and a parking limit needs you back at the car.
So that those minutes are not spent hunting for a clock, open the PiP window at the start and park it in a corner. It keeps its position for the whole two hours.
The longer the timer, the more can go wrong around it. Browser power saving, a closed tab, a restarted machine — none of it is under a web timer's control. For anything with a real cost attached, set an operating system alarm as well. And if you would rather split the time than sit through it, two rounds of the 50/10 focus cycle covers the same ground.
